WP asking for FTP Credentials in Admin when trying to add/delete plugins

  • Here is the message I’m getting:
    To perform the requested action, WordPress needs to access your web server. Please enter your FTP credentials to proceed. If you do not remember your credentials, you should contact your web host.

    I don’t have an FTP account, only an SFTP, and the server admin is being a bit difficult.

    I’ve used FileZilla and set all the folders in wp-content to 775.

    What steps can I take?
