get rid of "leave a comment" in post excerpt and display social icon instead

  • Hi everyone!
    How could I get rid of the “leave a comment” link located below the post entries (excerpts) in the home page and at that place insert one social media icon (i.e. the “like” of FB) instead ?
    Inspecting the code, the tag for it seems to be the:
    <footer class="entry-meta">
