I want to select the blog I want to post to from within the write post page.

There is no multiple blogs functionality in WP.

Could I take an rss feed and send it exclusively to the other blogs that I want to cross post to?

OK, are you wanting to cross-post between different WordPress blogs? or other blogging clients? Either way, there isn’t a way to automatically cross-post like that. Depending on what you are actually attempting to do, you may be able to use the import feature of WordPress.

I have been looking at the import feature. I am wondering about the security of the feed and how to administer the syndication.

Another thought occured to me. I am wondering if I could write a php script and call it “copy post”. Within the script I could set the url of the blog I wanted to copy to and connect it to a submit button. I would put that script in the loop of the post.php.

I know php but just a bit but I think in theory this should work, assuming there are no permissions problems.

What do you think?

Thank all of you for your suggestions. It looks like one or more the syndication plugins may be useful. I want to be able to select which posts to syndicate.
