• HI there,

I’m running a professional website for a fashion trade fair in Germany and I’m not really into CSS and stuff. I integrated the subscription form here on my page: https://www.showandorder.de but it’s not looking really nice and integrated here (different font, not aligned form boxes, etc.). Most of all it bothers me that I can’t find where I could change the text of the indicates required (German “erforderliche Eingabe”). This should be somewhere in my mailchimp account but I can’t find it. I was able to change the list field and merge tags but this one is somewhere else.
Could anyone show me an easy way to change font face, color and alignment of the form?

    Thaaaaaanks!

Sorry…I just switched back to the super slim embedded form so please don’t refer to the page. I just didn’t want to have it live looking like this

    Hey Novacon,

Thanks for posting. To have full control of the styling in your form, the best bet is to add your own CSS code targeting the elements in question. In our latest update, we actually now include a CSS cheatsheet, which should help in that process.

If you do intend on giving the plugin another try, I’d recommend to make sure you’re using our latest version, which just came out on October 3rd, v 1.3. The way the plugin form inherits CSS from its surrounding elements is a bit different, so you may see that the form looks a bit closer to your desired look with this new update.

If you activate the newest version of the plugin but are still seeing the undesired look and you’re not comfortable creating the CSS code to change it accordingly, feel free to post a link to an active version of your plugin form along with the changes you’d like to make, and I’d be happy to help make some suggestions.

In regards to linking to an active version of the plugin form, you may consider creating a test page if possible, so that you don’t have to have the undesired look live on your site.

    Look forward to hearing back!
