Sites with lots of tags – take for ever to load this plugin setting page

We have a large site with thousands of tags. When we attempt to load the EPT Settings page, it takes for ever to load (have not actually seen it finish loading). I suspect that is because its trying to load a long long list of all of our tags instead of using pagination or tabs or something else to break up these settings?
Currently makes the plugin unusable. ??
