Blog post crumbtrail issue with Yoast SEO Internal Links
-
I’ve just set a new site live for a client at https://www.figueirachandler.co.uk.
I’ve implemented Yoast SEO Internal links using the guidelines at https://yoast.com/wordpress/breadcrumbs/
I’d like all news (blog) posts to have a permlink url of https://www.figueirachandler.co.uk/news/post-title and have the breadcrumb trail in the format: ‘Home | News | Post Title’ and not involve the post category at all.
I have set the permalinks to a custom structure of https://www.figueirachandler.co.uk/news/%postname% which gives me the URL I want but the breadcrumb (internal links) option for Yoast SEO is currently set to ‘Category’ which is not ideal. The other options for ‘Post Taxonomy’ in breadcrumbs are None, Tag or Format – none of which give me ‘Home | News | Post Title’
Any ideas?
