    Hi,

Is there anyway to hide, delete, remove the homepage section?

To confirm I want to get rid of the 4 homepage box headings, texts, thumbnail images & links.

    Thank you in advance.

    Best regards

    Zoe

Thanks for this – but this is where you disable your posts – which I already have.

This is template specific because those homepage boxes are part of the theme options that offer a preview to other pages.

I guess I need to mod the template but I don’t want to break it!

The site in question is https://www.logikons.co.uk if you have any other suggestions?..

    You can try the following.
Create a page, let’s call it ‘Home’ or something like that, select on the right column Page attributes the template to Blog. Then go to settings and set the new page ‘Home’ as startpage. Hopefully that will work.

P.s. you don’t have to break the template when you create a child-theme.

(I don’t know if all the options/menu items I say are 100% correct because my page is in Dutch.)

Yeh I got to grips with the editor and with the aid of a child theme I edited the home page template.

Now got rid of the homepage image boxes – decided to leave the homepage headings and text boxes after all;-)

    Many thanks.

You’re welcome! Good luck with the site!
