Page not working after update –

Uncheck this in the Events settings and your static homepage should reappear:

Include events in main blog loop
“Show events with the site’s other posts. When this box is checked, events will also continue to appear on the default events page.”

Apologies for any inconvenience you’ve encountered here. There have indeed been a bug or two in relation to the include-events-in-main-blog-loop feature and we hope to have them resolved in the next maintenance release.

I can’t be absolutely certain you are all experiencing the same thing of course but if you do find that the problems keeping occurring after the next maintenance release please do create a new thread and we’ll do what we can to help (though hopefully that won’t be necessary).
