    Hi all,

I’m after a bit of advice here. I’ve used wordpress several times as a CMS, and very successfully, and i love it’s customisability, support and general all round ease of use. I have a new project that i’m thinking of using it for and am wondering if anyone has any thoughts on whether this is possible using WP or not.

My client wants to run an online art gallery, where there will be many different artists, each of whom will have several pieces of work which could fall within different categories (painting, sculpture etc). Also the client wants to have a user registration and ‘wish list’ type affair, whereby they can save their favourite pieces of art to a personalised area – like a lightbox on a stock photo site i suppose. They should then be able to return, login and see their saved selections.

For an idea of the site please take a look at the home page concept design at https://dev.inter-art.co.uk (only definitely looking how it should on Firefox Mac, so forgive any breaks in the CSS) – i would be really grateful for any advice on how to best structure this site and whether anyone thinks it is actually possible within WP.

    Many thanks
    Matt
