wp_comments consistently crashing

  • My wp_comments table is getting corrupted on two of my blogs multiple times a day. The exact error is “wp_comments’ is marked as crashed and last (automatic?) repair failed”. I can issue a repair table wp_comments and it always fixes the problem. However, it keeps happening over and over again. Any ideas out there?

  • You’re missing a lot of information there. List any changes you’ve made to filters, functions? List your plugins? Which theme? A link to your site?

    Never mind. I went ahead and made a copy of the wp_comments table and then replaced the crashing table with the new one. Things have been fine ever since.
