301 redirect and Google indexing
-
Hi
I’m not even sure this is a problem, but I wanted to ask.I have been the victim of a cloaking hack. Google has my site indexed with all kinds of Payday Loan stuff (I don’t do payday loans).
I switched hosting companies, used a new theme, used mostly different plugins and all new passwords. I’m anxious to get my titles and descriptions correct again on Google. Now when I use the “Fetch as Google” tool in my Google Webmaster Tools I see a 301 redirect. I also see it in the Redleg\’s File Viewer ( https://aw-snap.info/file-viewer/?tgt=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.escapekeygraphics.com%2F&ref_sel=Google&ua_sel=gbot2&fs=1 )
Is this a problem, or does Google just need time to redirect and index the proper page?
Thanks
