    Hi everyone,

I have a website which I installed duplicator. The database is in MSSQL which the reason we are doing this is because we want to transfer the site to MySQL. The problem I am having is when we install and try to create a package and installer file nothing happens…it does it’s thing with looking to create the package but comes back with a page with nothing created….any ideas? Is this because it’s not made for MSSQL databases?

  • Hi ussailing,

The plugin currently does not support MSSQL, possibly in future versions it might…

    Cheers~

    Hi lifeinthegrid,
I love your plugin. Recently I took on a client that uses ms sql. While I understand that the plugin currently does not support mssql, do you have any recommendations for converting an mysql database file created by duplicator to a mssql database file?

    Thank you,
    Jonathan

    Hey Field1post,

You may have to open the generated sql file and then look through what items are ANSI SQL vs MySQL, I would think that most of the inserts you would not have to modify, just the create table statements…

    Hope that helps!
