Only works on one WPMU site

Thank you svehex for reporting this. That is a good point. We built the plugin with single wp installation in mind. We will soon change it to support wp multi websites.

I got it working by activating it on the sites themselves instead of n network admin. But not I can’t reach my server because all the memory is used up.

You server is down now?

Every time I enable Cunjo, the site won’t load. Sometimes just the admin sections, and sometimes the entire site. The error in the server error log is different every time. First it said all the memory was used up, the second time I tried to activate it, it said there was an error in another plugin, the third time it said the database had a duplicate entry for fk_option in wp_cunjoshare

Hi, better deactivate it until we have a propper wpmu version because the way you are using it right now is like having the plugin multiple times on your hosting. So until we build a solution for wpmu better use the embedded version (https://share.cunjo.com/widgets/bars/). If you need, I can help you out with that. I can tell you where to place the code as to appear on all your wpmu blogs.

I have. It seems to be working on the sub sites. I’ll check out the embedded version. If you could do that, it would be very nice.

Hi again. There are 2 different strategies we can go for with multisite implementation:
1. The Super Admin has access to the widgets settings and display options and he sets the widgets that will be displayed across the multisite blogs.
2. Each individual blog has access to the social widgets and can customize activate/deactivate widgets individually.

From your perspective, what would be better and what would you like to have?

Hi, can you send us an email [email protected] with title multisite plugin and i will send you privately the beta version 2.1.3 so you can tested on your multisite and see if it fixes the crashing issue as we changed the way options are retrieved and saved to be compatible with multisite. But we do not have a multisite enabled now so in order to release this faster for you i would ask you to test and see if it fixes the crashing issue, and if it does we will package version 2.1.3 and publicly release it.

Ok, so we focused these past 7 hours in building the multisite compatibility. It was a little more than we expected but we got it done. We installed a multisite wp and tested and it works with no issues. When you update to latest released version (2.1.3) on your wp network admin menu you will see the Cunjo tabs and can manage widgets there to be shown in your entire network. Because of the changes the plugin (when on WPMU) acts like one network plugin and not multiple plugins as before and you shouldn’t have any issues regarding pages loading slow or widgets not showing up on all blogs in your network. Here is the change log for the fresh released version:

• Built-in functions to support multisites;
• WPMU: When installed and activated on a network it acts like a network plugin displayed in the wp-admin network admin menu (not individual blogs);
• WPMU: Widget settings saved by the super admin (network admin) apply to all blogs as individual blogs do not have access to view the plugin pages or modify settings;
• WPMU: Widget activation function will activate the particular widget on all blogs unless (see next feature);
• WPMU: Added feature to hide a widget from individual blogs;
• WPMU: Temporary removed the following features found in single wp install version: Hide widget on specific posts, Hide widget on specific pages, Show widget on custom post types, these might be introduced later in wpmu version but as the plugin is quite extensive implementing these in atm is not priority.
