Files not being deleted on Google Drive

Which of those filenames still appear in your Google Drive? Some of them, or all of them?

All of them. All the files that Updraft is backing up, and then saying it’s deleting based on the retention settings are being left in Google Drive.

I already tried setting everything up from scratch once and the problem persists.

You appear to have multiple uploads of the same files. Please can you post the entire backup log, using pastebin.com?

Not sure if that is going to be as helpful. I no longer have the log for the Sep 20 backup. My server was completely filled up due to the backup files not being able to transfer to Drive. I am going to start from scratch again, including setting up a new Google Drive folder, to see if that helps. If this happens again I will create a new support thread.

You’re right – that’s not the log of the one with multiple files, and I can’t see any evidence in that log of that problem – so you’ll need to wait for it to happen again. However – please do first update to the latest UpdraftPlus release, as you may be dealing with an already-fixed problem.

Also – you should remove this directory from your WP install, so that it’s not backed up (it’s very large, and is a backup – so you get a backup-of-a-backup):
wp-content/uploads/backwpup-bcc90-temp

However, I don’t fine any logs for 54c75f2ae2d3. My 10-18 backup is aedc9e7a5bac. Those files are still on my google drive and the auto deleting is not working. Let me know if you need to see more logs.

Please can you update to the latest version of UpdraftPlus, and then try again and send the new information? (It’s not economically feasible for me to support older versions in the free support forum).
