Zot_bib_web is a tool that takes a Zotero collection of articles and produces an interactive bibliography (in HTML), with links to downloadable papers, BibTeX code, abstracts. It comes with a connector to WordPress to upload the results straight to a specific page or post in a WordPress database.

I build it for the website of my research lab, where a number of people are to maintain their publication records in a structured way – that is, in Zotero. This also should work well for individual websites.

This tool is designed to be run as a cronjob, or on demand, on a standard Unix-type server. It requires Python and a simple library – it’s simple to install on any server with shell-level access.

I hope someone out there will find this useful.
