Static Image as Homepage

Have you looked at using a landing page plugin?

I am having difficulty finding one that does just the simple task of putting an image only as the homepage. Is it possible to just hard link the media jpg to the source file. And if possible how? I am completely clueless at how one would do that.

Or you can create a custom template in your theme – which theme are you using?

Thanks for the response. I am using the standard theme that is default. I’ve looked at a lot of the landing page plugings and their highly customizable options are exactly the problem. I don’t want all the features, simply an image as the websites sole and only page with nothing else on the page.
