    Hi,

First of all I want to thank you for this excellent plugin. It’s great!

I’m using the S2member plugin tot restrict page acces. S2Members allows you to create roles and has acces levels 0 to level 4 member (see blow). When I go to the menu, I can see all the member levels including member levels 1 to 4 S2Members created, but the Lovel 0 is missing, which means that I can’t make the menu visible to visitors who are not logged in unless I choose display mode “Logged out users”in which case the menu-item isn’t visible for logged in users. Nav menu roles seems to skip level o. Is the a way to correct that?

Thanx in advance for your reply.

Perhaps Level 0 is just the same as a regular WP subscriber role? I don’t really know, I am not familiar with S2.

No, level 0 is the level of non subscribers, but it does’nt show up as a role.

my real question is: How do I make a menu-item visible for not logged in visitors and logged in users at the same time? I can now choose to show the menu to logged out users or to logged in users or by role. but because the logged out users are not an acces role, I can’t show the menu to logged out users and categories of logged in users.

Showing an item to logged out users and some logged in users isn’t currently possible. The real question, to me, is why the s2 role isn’t showing up as an option. my checkboxes are pulled from the global $wp_roles so all properly registered roles should appear.

    Dear Helga,

I have no idea why that is, but my problem is solved. if I check the “by role” checkbox, but do not check any roles, everybody can see the menu and that was what I really wanted.

Thanks for your replies and keep up the good work with this great plugin.

By role, with no roles checked, is the default ‘off’ setting. I apologize, seems like I didn’t understand your question very well. Glad you solved it.

I looked at s2 today and I can confirm that Level 0 is indeed the same as WordPress’s subscriber role.
