Theme broken on site migratopm

  • I have moved many WP sites in the past and some are easier than others but I am having a really bad time with the site using a custom theme ( not mine ). I have the test site running at https://182.160.156.106/~mbcpm/

    I tried simply copying the wp-content onto a clean install on new server, then importing the database – everything works perfectly under any of the standard themes but looks terrible on custom theme as if parts of the js or css are ignored. Even does this under theme preview and yet css and js are obviously working in part.

    Original site is 3.1.3 – I installed into 3.5.2 then reverted to 3.1.3 and even tried 3.6.1 and all same result.

    I have used Updraft migrate, and manually copies wp-content countles times , absolutely using ASCII ftp – I am all out of ideas and can’t get a response from the developer.

    Sorry to be more specific – the site uses a static home page. However the static page is appearing below all of the posts. The menu works but looks strange as they don’t line up correctly – just as is there css was wrong – I have compared original and new and cannot detect any changes.
