Use different from Gallery shortcode

    This looks promising.

    Can I use different shortcode from gallery? I still need the cool tiled mosaic of default gallery. Occasionally I would like the gallery in the form of slideshow, which this plugin will do good. It will be great if there’s such option to switch between default gallery and Fotorama. Is it available?

    Now it is unavailable. But I can make something like so:

    [gallery fotorama="false"]

    Will it be easy?

    Thanks for getting back. That will be useful. It depends which way the user prefers. In my case, I would prefer [gallery fotorama="true"]. My site is full of galleries and ideally a plugin would not require me to change anything existing unless where I require the plugin, i.e. where I want the gallery be slideshow. For this reason, I am unable to use this plugin at the moment.

    You can now disable fotorama and use standard gallery with fotorama="false":

    [gallery ids="1,2,3" fotorama="false"]

    Sorry, I’m not going to invert this to fotorama="true".

    Thanks for the update, useful!

    The problem is when I use fotorama=”false”, the gallery becomes standard gallery (grid) rather than tiled gallery (type=”rectangular”). Any idea?

    Ok, it is Jetpack. Jetpack gallery will not work when other plugin deal with the gallery shortcode. So, tiled gallery will not work.
