    Hello

I’ve installed the plugin, set it all up good. It works perfectly on localhost. The problem im having is a big one though. Online, on the server, the plugin is really slow. When you add a pizza to the cart, you cant instantly go to the order page (place order), because then the cart will still be empty (It will not have registered your order). For it to work, you need to wait a few seconds, and then click go to order page.

Is this a problem with the plugin, or the server?

don’t mean to point the finger as there’s always a chance that there’s something not quite right with the plugin or I have (re-)introduced a bug

However, if it works fine on your localhost and still works when on a server but is just slow, chances are, your server is too slow
(perhaps there are also other plugins that slow the server down ?)

i dont think there’s anything I can fix as – from where I’m sitting – there’s nothing to fix in the plugin….

(you could also turn on debug and have a look in the debug.log and/or php/mysql logs maybe you get a hint there as to what slows the server down)

it does however give me an idea to disable the “place order” button while a new item is being added to the cart.

(this does not solve your speed issues though, it’s just an idea that i might manage to add to the next update and – at least – stop people going to the order page before any new item has been added )

Thank you so much for the fast response!

Well I have two other plugins running, the Gallery plugin and DMSguestbook. I have tried to disable them to see if it fixed the WPPizza problem, it did not.

I thought it probably was a server issue, but I figured i’d give this forum a try anyway.

Yeah the disabling of the place order button, while it is loading, is a great idea.

Thanks for the response, keep up the good work, it is an amazing plugin!

i have integrated the “disable place order button” in the upcoming release (2.5) which should be out in a few days

    Very cool!

I found out it was a cache problem, by the way!

    – sorry for responding to the resolved thread.
