There doesn't seem to be a wp-config.php file – But there is!
-
Hey Guys.
I just want to get started with WordPress but I have a problem. I’m running Ubuntu 13.04 and followed this guide. Everything went just fine but the last step. Here is a screenshot.
I followed the graphical wp-config.php creater, but it says that I have to create it manually. I did that using the guide in the FAQ at this site.
I have saved the wp-config.php just by the wp-config-sample.php and I do think that it is the root folder, since it is together with the wp-admin, wp-content and the wp-includes folder. Here is a screenshot of the root folder.
I really think that I did everything just right, but why am I still getting the “There doesn’t seem to be a wp-config.php file. I need this before we can get started”- error message?
I would really like some help – this annoy me so much. I didn’t find any help at other sources, but found a few with simmular problems.
– Help me please!
