I think I installed wp to the wrong spot

  • I am in the middle of coverting from .com to .org. In the process of it all i think I installed(started) my website to mywebsite.com.php53-5.ord1-1.websitetestlink.com/wp-admin/ insteard of just mywebsite.com. WordPress even sent me an email saying mywebsite.com.php53-5.ord1-1.websitetestlink.com is my new website. Can I just uninstall wordpress and start over?

    Any help would be totally rad. If I need to provide more info let me know. I am new to this whole thing.

    As long as you have not already moved actual content (pages, posts and such) and/or database info you do not want to lose, then yes, you should be able to ask your new host to reset or “nuke” your account so you can begin completely fresh to get things as you want them.
