    Chrome 29 Works fine
    Firefox 23 tooltips are INVISIBLE
    IE 10 tooltips are INVISIBLE

    Ipad IOS
    Chrome tooltips are INVISIBLE
    Safari tooltips are INVISIBLE

    Mac OS

    Pls advise.

Can you give me a link where you’re having trouble? I’ve not run into issues with Tippy cross-browser. For instance, if you check my site, https://croberts.me/ you should see the tooltips in any of the browsers you named.

    the webpage is https://parisclairesalon.com/services/

Look for the “?” beside “Japanese Bio-Ionic Relaxe”, as an example. I cna sdee it in google, but not in Firefox, for example

The Tippy reference sits within a Tablepress cell.

I have upgraded to the latest version of tippy

    Thx.

I have the same problem. Just reverted to 6.0.7. but it still does not show up. It does work with the same Theme (Weaver) and version on an other site !?

On https://www.worldwhisky.org/top/rated-books/ look for “Select XXXX best books” The title does not show up.

Also ” See XXXXXX to all of these rules.”

    Karesansui,

The problem you’re seeing is a bit different. In your case, conflicting versions of jQuery are being loaded by your theme. It looks like this is affecting more than just Tippy. If you check the JavaScript console you’ll notice a few “Object [object Object] has no method…” errors. By default, Tippy loads the version of jQuery that comes bundled with WordPress but your theme is also trying to load an old version of jQuery via a Google loader. The line is: <script type=”text/javascript”>google.load(“jquery”, “1”);</script> If that line is removed the tooltip starts working, though there are still a few issues in the appearance that I’ll need to check out.

    epatience,

I don’t think it’s a cross-browser issue. I can’t get it to load in any browser. When I view source, it looks like the content that’s supposed to be generated by the plugin on the server isn’t being generated. This is probably related to how it’s being used in TablePress, but I’ve tested with TablePress with success so I’ll have to dig a little more to figure it out.

Great Chris……. The plugin “Interesting Links List” is causing this problem. It is an old one without any recent updates.

That solves my version of the invisible problem. Thanks! …. also for a great plugin!

    Glad that worked.
