I have recently moved a site from one hosting company to another. After the move, Publicize is no longer working on any post. All connections were lost. When I try to set a new connection, Twitter for example, the Twitter connection screen is displayed, I click on “Authorize App”, Twitter indicates that it’s processing, the screen reverts to WP-admin login screen. After login, there is no connection.

I have tried upgrading to 3.6, and the same thing happens. I have installed “Twitter Widget Pro”, which requires a connection (consumer key etc.), and it works.

Hi! It look sto me like you have properly set up your Twitter connections on our end. Are you still having issues with it?

Yes, it still doesn’t work. I click on Authorize app, I enter the twitter login and password, twitter displays message: Redirecting back to application. This may take a few moments. The WordPress login screen appears, with only the login filled in and no password. Then when I try again, I click on Authorize App, and there is no screen to enter the Twitter login and Password, only the Twitter message “Redirecting back to application. This may take a few moments.
The redirect happens with all the available connections, not just Twitter.

    Thanks

I do not understand what is happening exactly. I did notice that are still on WordPress 3.5.1 though; you said you tried 3.6? On the same site, and then downgraded, or how exactly?

I’d love to see a screencapture of what your steps are and what happens, exactly. Would you mind filming your screen for me? You can try to use this service to do so, for example (it’s free):

    Let me know; thanks!

I was unable to use to screenr.com – it would not load the recorder. So I created a 4 image slideshow link to illustrate the screen progress. https://picasaweb.google.com/105900628659183333234/20130920?authuser=0&authkey=Gv1sRgCPPF5NfW_a6piwE&feat=directlink

I think the problem maybe with WordPress, possible wp-login.php. I downgraded to 3.5.1 by saving the 3.6 wp-content files and then ftp 3.5.1 from my harddrive. Then upload the 3.6 wp-content. This seems to work fine for everything on the site except the Sharing connections.

I have never used Jetpack, so I don’t know what is supposed to happen when a connection is made – where is it supposed to redirect to, and how does Twitter know where to redirect. Maybe you can glean something from the redirect URL on the screenshots.

    Thanks,
    Karen

I tried using Internet Explorer to add the Sharing Connections, and it works. I never use Internet Explorer, so I think it has to do with cache.
