• I have the most up to date version of polylang and it all works fine in pages and posts . However when i use the portfolio page I get duplicates of the portfolio items (ie i will get the items in both languages on the portfolio gallery).

I am using a theme called evermore and i have sent the support team there a similar post – however if anyone else has come across this and knows which php template I need to edit I would be grateful.

    Thanks in advance
    Gavin

I hope that they will help you as I can’t help with themes when the code is not freely downloadable. It seems that you are not alone to have problems to build a multilingual website with this theme.

Thanks for the reply – to be honest the theme is perfect except for the portfolio gallery and i really like the gallery which is why i am persevering for now. Also the support for the themes are always very good so I am hopeful they can help me resolve this – could you tell me where i should be looking to fix this?

That’s hard to guess without the code. You will have to find the query for the portfolio in themes files. The way I generally use to find this is looking at the html source produced. Find some characteristic string, for example a class or div id. And then looking for this string in php code using ‘grep’.
