    Hi Mattaeo,
Thanks for the great plugin and all the follow up support. Just wanted to let you know that I’m seeing an issue in firefox when using multiple players on the same page.

In my experience, the first player works fine but all the others are not working. Here is the page I’m talking about: https://www.superguitarlicks.com/jamtrackstest/

This problem is only in firefox, all other browsers work fine, although I haven’t tested I.E. I just updated my flash to the latest version: Version 11.8.800.94

    Firefox version: 24.0
    Mac OSX: 10.8.4

Please let me know if you have any other ideas on what could be causing the issue.

    Thanks!

    Mike

    Hi Mike,
You have this issue on FF because all your players have the same IDs.
How are you embedding the player in your page?
The component itself sets a unique ID to the player.
Anyway, if you change the ID for each player it should work.

Ah ok, that makes sense. I was just copying and pasting the raw code and just replacing the link to the audio file. One thing I couldn’t figure out is how to get the player to work with and external file. I’m streaming all my files from my amazon s3 account and not from my hosting account.

If i upload the audio files to my media library it’s easy, but i couldn’t figure out how to get the player working with external media. When I did it once with a file from my media library I looked at the code and just changed the url from my media library to my s3 account and it worked fine.

This would explain why all the players have the same id though

The player works fine also if you are pointing to an external source. It renders any link to an mp3 file, doesn’t matter if it is external or on the same domain. You could have problems with the “download” feature if the file is external, but all the rest will work.

    Bye,
    Matteo
