WP Simple Paypal Shopping Cart 3.8.2

I’m testing in the paypal sandbox. For some reason I’m not receiving emails with the download link. The sandbox says everything has been paid and the debug log says an email has been sent.

I’ve been through the sandbox set up guide and I think it’s all set up correctly. The transactions are all showing, I’m just not receiving any emails with the download link.

The email account is working fine and is receiving email from gmail.

Any ideas why the download emails are not being sent out?

    Thanks,
    Karen

Never mind I’ve found another plugin that worked with sandbox testing.

    Plugin Author wptipsntricks

Hi, a sandbox email address is auto-generated by PayPal to simulate either a buyer or a merchant. So after the transaction when the plugin tries to send an email to the buyer it’s not going to go anywhere because the email address doesn’t exist.

Nowadays when you set up the buyer and business accounts in the sandbox you have a choice to use a real email address which I did (in the past it was auto generated email address). Other plugins that I was testing are sending to that real email address so I think that this one should be too. It doesn’t really matter now since I moved to another plugin.

I’ve discovered it’s not the plugin but something with the website. Another plugin works on my demo website but not when I put it live – just like this one.
