Gallery using tags

  • Hi,

    I am interested in including on a page a gallery that pulls images into it using tags.

    I have tried using the instructions on your website and instead of just showing images I have tagged in the manage galleries section, it is including additional images that I have not yet allocated tags too.

    Is this something you can assist me with?

    I also note that when I go to ‘manage tags’ it shows that I only have 5 tags (correct) and it shows the correct number of images that have been tagged for each. So I’m confused why it’s not just picking these ones up.

    @littleowlinlove – Thanks for this report, we have just released a new beta version of the plugin that addresses some of the issues we were seeing in the Related Images functionality. If you are comfortable manually updating your plugin please feel free to use the new beta found on this page: https://www.nextgen-gallery.com/nextgen-gallery-latest-beta/

    Thank you for responding so promptly. I started doing the upload however I use BlueHost and I can only seem to upload one file at a time, rather than uploading the folder that contains all the files. So it was taking far too long and I didn’t want to stuff things up. So will have to give this one a miss until the next upgrade to NextGen.

    Me again… Was the recent update to 2.0.21 meant to update the galleries based on tags?

    Mine is still not working and it’s still pulling in all gallery images.
