image aligned right and background color not working

Hi,
I tried to add an image to the settings page but it aligned all the way to the right of the page. Any css I tried to add did not take. I used the background image instead but now I can’t have the image as a link.
Also, I was not able to change the grain background to plain white even though the background setting is #ffffff.
Is there a way to PM you the link?
