Galleries created using tags will not display more than 500 images

    theme: Custom Community Pro version 1.17

    I am inserting galleries into pages by tag rather than creating separate albums or galleries. I have just noticed that the galleries I insert will only display 500 images. I have it set so that 100 display on a page so the gallery will only give the option of a maximum of 5 pages of thumbnails. I have tried changing the thumbnails per page to 500 and the gallery still cut off at 500 images.

    I know that the tags are being recognized; when I insert a tag cloud it tells me that there are more than 500 images tagged with any particular tag, but when I click on the tag to display thumbnails it will again only show me 500 images.

    Is there a way that I can change this so that all of my tagged items will be displayed in a gallery?

    I am new to this forum so please let me know if more information is needed.
