Missing sidebar on IE 8

  • I improved IE 8 support in the last couple updates, but I’m having trouble with the Sidebar link not showing up. I had thought it was just me. I guess I’ll poke around a bit more.

    Sorry to keep raining on your awesome parade with issues for old browsers, haha. Both of the last two issues I’ve reported were for platforms I don’t even use… but I just figured I’d report them anyways. ??

    IE8 is probably more worth your while than Android 2.3 though… even though my website is mostly technical and has lots of Android content, I still have relatively few hits from Android devices…

    No problem. This helps because I assumed this issue was fixed. Time to open up the Win 7 VM…

    This will be fixed in the next update. Should be out soon.

    Awesome, I just pulled the latest git and verified in my Windows 7 VM that the sidebar is working. Great success!</borat>
