PhotoSwipe not working

The pictures displayed through the Picasa Google Plus Express are opening to a new tab rather than a new window on the same page (as PhotoSwipe is supposed to do). I believe there is an issue between this plugin and my new theme, Quarter from ThemeForest.com. I am unsure where the issue lies, but I was hoping I could get some advice on where a possible fix could be found. I have checked and confirmed that wp_head and wp_footer are included in the style sheet and have also disabled all plugins to make sure it is not another plugin interfering.
