• I read your FAQs but don’t undertand. This is the first time I’ve needed to restore.

I have my backups on my computer (downloaded).

The FAQs state “When you download a backup file from our Online Backup for WordPress Portal, you will automatically be asked for your encryption key and given the file unencrypted, ready to use. If the backup file was sent to your email inbox, you will need to login to any WordPress blog with the plugin installed (such as your new installation after a disaster) and use the “Decrypt a Backup” option to upload and decrypt your backup file using your encryption keys.”

Where do I find the option to “decrypt a backup”.
Do I use my WP Admin – Online Backup plugin area??
How do I restore my site with the backup which was downloaded to my desktop?

    thank you

    Hi justinta,

Under “Local Backups” is where you need. You will need to use FTP to upload your backup file to the server: /wp-content/backups/
The plugin will show it on “Local Backups” and allow you to decrypt it and download it unencrypted.

In 3.0.3 just released it now called “Local Backups & Decryption” so it clearer. The description on that page says how to upload via FTP.
