Okay so I installed the Plug-in and everything seems to be working fine.

My question is how do I get the image to open in a light box of my choosing (I have got different one installed with my custom styles) and not the origin web page of the image?

I am guessing it has to do with the functionality of the templates.
Unfortunately my knowledge of PHP code is, nonexisting.

Currently I am using the clean_separated.php templates.

the plugin currently doesn’t have a list of lightbox templates…there is only the standard template that comes with colorbox…if you want you can customize the colorbox.css file (in the css folder). As for just getting the image to open up in the lightbox, the plugin doesn’t do that…it opens the page where the feed items if from. This would require complete customization of the plugin if you just want the image.

Hay men, thank you for the reply…
I managed to solve the problem by downloading a complimentary plug-in.
The name of the plug-in is image-formatr
    And here is the link:

If there is anyone else having similar issues…

That function that I used in that particular plug-in was Ignore anchors, everything else I left un checked.
