How to setup 3 Month Subscriptions with no trial period?

  • I have a 1 month and a 3 month subscription.

    I collect the initial payment of the full subscription cost and then have it set to bill them the full subscription cost every 3 months.

    But what really happens is PMPro collects the initial payment and then setups another payment the following month for the same amount. It is entirely ignoring the 3 month billing cycle.

    Any thoughts?

    Which gateway are you using? Which version of PMPro? (Upgrade to the latest, a fix for something like this went out a bit ago.)

    We are on the latest version of PMPro I update regularly. We are using Paypal Standard for the gateway.

    We have no trial period and never setup one up but all our 3 month subs are showing up like this in PayPal

    Automatic payment details
    Amount paid each time: $57.00 USD
    Billing cycle: Every 3 Months
    Payments start: Sep 27, 2013
    Next payment due: Sep 27, 2013

    Trial Period
    Trial period amount: $57.00 USD
    Billing cycle: Monthly
    Start date: Aug 27, 2013
    End date: Sep 27, 2013

    Valuerockr,

    I see the issue here and will have a fix out in version 1.7.3. That’s due sometime next week, so I’ll post a patch here as well.
