great little plugin, I think this does most of what I need.

I have a couple of questions though, say you had a bar graph with revenue and profit and you created 5 datasets. There doesn’t appear to be any way to have a legend to show the person which colour represents the revenue and which one the profit.

Also, is there a way to force the chart to use a maximum value and scale on the Y-axis for the bar chart. Currently it’s incrementing every 0.25 when I’d rather it increment every whole number.

    Thanks!

yes, force option for non decimal Y-axis would be great, in many cases is decimal wrong … for example number of people

    Hi aceriker,

Legends are coming in the next release, and I will look into the Y axis scale options to see what we can have available in the short-code.

    Thanks for the feedback.

    regards

    Cool! Looking forward to it!

    Hey Guys

New version is up , have included the scale options from the library, let me know what you think and if you have any issues with the new version,

    Cheers.

    Paul

    Hi Paul
Scaling does not work for me (I have defined all three properties and scaleOverride true). Can you paste an example of line chart?

    hey

it was a silly bug I introduced by changing the case to camel case as formatting thing, didn’t realize it would break it – latest update (0.6.7) has it sorted, check it out.

Heres the example shortcode I’m using

    `
    [wp_charts title=”linechart” type=”line” align=”alignright” margin=”5px 20px” datasets=”40,43,61,50 next 33,15,40,22″ labels=”one,two,three,four” scaleoverride=”true” scalesteps=”5″ scalestepwidth=”10″ scalestartvalue=”0″]

Hi Paul, can you include scalelabel as well? If so would it be possible to show it in the example above please?

Hey dear users, dear Paul, I’m a new happy user of wp charts.
May i will ask some friends to improve new features in the future.

I have’nt seen the possibility to integrate a legend?
    May i’m dumb ??

    Check the exemple here :

    Hi Remixines

Thanks for the comment and feedback,

Busy with legends currently, I’ve got one more minor release with the ‘proportions’ feature and then will add the legends. look out for them in version 0.7

    Regards

    Paul

I love this plugin. The best around. Really looking for the upcoming legend!

Any news about the legend feature? I’m new on using this plugin and as far as I see the widget has already some sort of a legend features with “Introduction” and “Chart description”

    Hello, Legends! Awesome, can’t wait.

Could you give a short answer as to when these would be ready for the Pie chart. What I really need, to at least for a piece of pie is the label.

Percentage and labels and count for a pie please. For instance, for 100 pies at the Country Fair, 75% Cherry (75) 20% Apple (20) 5% Peach (5).

    Thank you!!!

When do you estimate launching version 7.0 with the legend updates?

P.S. Really love this plugin and how lightweight it is.
