Importing blog from tumblr

    Hi everyone.
    I am developing a site for client. There is a category named “Tumblr” on which I have imported tumblr blog posts from client’s tumblr account via tumblr importer plugin. But the client wants to move the whole blog along with its theme,notes and followers link.. after that he will redirect his tumblr blog to this page.. But importing with Tumblr Importer only imports images,description,and publishing date.. Can anybody help me with how to import followers and notes along with posts??
    Got very confused.. just help me out please…

  • I’m not very familiar with Tumblr. Using the built in WordPress import feature is definitely the right way to do this but it won’t import everything.

    The themes for Tumblr and WordPress are different so you would need to either find a theme that is similar to the one they are using now or build a custom theme.

    As far as the Followers this seems to be a Tumblr specific feature that is used internally in their site only.
