How to I get lightbox / thickbox working?

    I’ve got File Gallery v1.7.7 installed as my own plugin but I cant seem to get a lightbox effect when I click on an image.

    I’ve tried adding ‘lightbox’ and ‘thickbox’ to the link class when inserting gallery but no luck ??

    I have a few questions which may help me?

    1) What should an example of the shortcode be?
    2) Do I need to set the ‘link to’ to anywhere?
    3) Are there any specific settings I need to enable on the SETTINGS > MEDIA page?

  • I get the same effect !!!
    Witch theme do you use ?

    Try to make it work with default theme and no other plugin activated.
    The plugin is not compatible with some Lightbox effect – like PrettyPhoto. But it works with most of them – try WP-Slimbox 2.

    I hope it will be soon corrected.
