Modifying outbound e-mail template

  • The default outbound e-mail template for new user registration contains only the username, password and login URL. I would like to add some disclaimer text to that e-mail but I can’t figure out where the template for that outbound e-mail is located. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

  • Take a look at the function wp_new_user_notification in wp-includes/pluggable.php.

    Thanks, that looks like what I was looking for. I’m used to modifying template-type files and not so much functions.
