Pull info from Events

Hi, first off.. amazing plugin. Works fantastic.
Everything is working, and pulling the proper info.. except when my client posts an Event.
The event shows up in the plugin just as a text link. (to the event)Is there a way to have the plugin pull the description and associated photo for the event?
You’ll see what I mean on this page
https://www.telecarepeterborough.org/site/news/near the bottom, just a link shows. That’s an event they posted.
