Donation Accepted But Not Posting

  • I submitted a real $1 test donation. It was pending while I finished setting up my new paypal account. Once that was confirmed (after a few days) I went ahead and accepted the charge. The donation posted to my paypal account as accepted but it’s not registering in my dashboard.

    Would love to get this working, it’s exactly what our organization needs.

    I’m having the same problem. The log has captured information, it’s just not showing up as expected in the admin area like it used to. Can you give me advice on the best way to proceed? Thank you!

    Hi, I’m also having the same problem. Also, in my case, the log is not capturing all of the information. I’ve run two tests. In the first case I was able to successfully make a payment through Paypal and this information was captured on the log, but I did not receive a thank you email through this service. In the second test I was able to make a successful payment, but this session is not showing on the log. Can you help?

    Reposting this here, as it may help:

    Please check your log (under Seamless Donations > Log in WordPress Admin).

    If it shows Pending – then your PayPal account is not approving the payments. Make sure you:

    1) have verified your PayPal account – check and confirm that your PayPal account has a verified email address. If the address in your PayPal account is not verified, payments will not automatically be marked as complete.
    2) do NOT have Payment Review enabled on your PayPal account
    3) have set up the currency in PayPal to match the currency you have set up Seamless Donations to receive in
    4) if the donor elected eCheck – those can take several days to clear – and until that happens it will show pending
