Easy Contact Forms Call not supported?

    Hey,
    I am trying to switch from a contact form that comes with a template we are using (remarky template) to one a feel better about. Easy Contact Forms. However the call 

    [easy_contact_forms fid=4]

    Does not appear to work. Instead it just renders as text. I tried a couple other forms and the same happens. The remarky theme uses contact form7, and it shows fine, but is twitchy and stops working a lot.

    Any ideas? I am stumped.
