Make images and H1 overlay full width

Hey there, great slider, it looks really cool and is easy to use however, I cannot get my images to span the entire width of my site. The slideshow itself spans the entire header area, but the actual image and H1 overlay do not. I have added the following shortcode to the header hook (theme: Genesis 2.0, sample child):

The uploaded slide images are 1600px in width, would like to span across the entire header.
