Installed ok, unable to open any linked page however

The 5 minute install went very smooth. I’ve set my theme and added a few topics. So far so good. However, when you click the link to view comments or click a link in the nav bar (ie: about) the browser shows a 404 error.

I’m certain there is some setting I have missed or something but I have no idea what it might be. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

From this page click any comments link or the About button in the top nav bar.
