That’s a hack? I thought it was a standard template function you could get by altering the params for list_cats.

thanks codergurl… I went looking through the hacks and couldn’t find anything for category numbers. …with this code do you need to as something to wp-layout.css too? …I ask cuz I’ve noticed that most things you put in the index.php page have a counter part in that .css file too

I also just tried putting it in my index.php file and it doesn’t work… anyone?
