    Update: I’ve found another way to display a Facebook follow button, so that’s resolved.

    However, I’m still trying to figure out how to fix the metatag problem.

    Anyone??

    hi,

    Hello Annie,

    As we can see that the image you have specified in the “og:image” tag is a bit large image and hence buttons are not picking-up the images.

    <meta property=”og:image” content=”https://anniehearts.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2013/09/IMG_6812.jpg&#8221; />

    Please add the image with small size and the buttons will properly show-up the image while sharing.
    We have checked it by adding a small image and the result is –

    Please implement and let us know if you face any issues.

    Sorry to revive the relatively old thread,
    I had a discussion with Annie, and maybe can explain a bit more:

    The ShareThis button on the specific post page works fine, but when it is displayed on the blog page for specific post – it does show the correct title and url for the post, but not the Description or Image.

    Besides, the image is displayed properly for Like button etc. even on the blog page and just ShareThis button fails to display the image.

    If still the problem persists and on some specific posts only, then we suggest you to uninstall and re-install the ShareThis Plugin.
