• The Customizr website I have built is primarily made up of “pages”.

I do, however, want a “blog” section.

I want vistors to navigate to my “blog” section through the main/top menu, so when they go to that “blog” page they find my the latest post on top and all the rest to the side or below.

I have a feeling this is an easy question/problem, but I am still getting my feet wet with Customizr and WP.

    Can you help? Thanks.

  • Front Page can point to either a Static Page or your Latest Posts. So there are a few combinations that can be set (Home & Blog refer to Pages):

    1) Front page displays: Don’t show any posts or page

    2) Front page displays: your latest posts =Displays posts

    3) Front page displays: A static Page
    Posts page: –Select–
    Front page: –Select– =Displays posts

    4) Front page displays: A static Page
    Posts page: –Select–
Front page: Home =Displays static page

    5) Front page displays: A static Page
    Posts page: Blog
    Front page: –Select– =Displays posts

    6) Front page displays: A static Page
    Posts page: Blog
Front page: Home =Displays static page

    Suggest you try Option 6.

    Issue resolved, so grateful.

Added a page titled “KI BLOG”.

Added that page as a menu item, then positioned it where I wanted it in menu.

Went to Front Page settings section and set “KI BLOG” as my “Blog page” with “Home” as my front page.

Worked like a charm. I am in business.

    Thnx.
