Home page is bland and catagory content problem

    The home page text just looks a bit bland and I don’t know how to design it so it looks decent but informative.

    Also the tabs at the top have drop down menus that I am linking to pages, but if you click the tab it goes to the category and obviously says “No posts here” what can I put there so it looks good, I am thinking maybe links to the review pages of the individual businesses but again I don’t know how to do this or how to make it look good.
