if you deactivate the plugin does the page show up normally, with the shortcode?

Yup.

Weirdly enough, it might be a DB issue – my dev version looks fine, but the live doesn’t. Is there some way to reset the plugin?

The plugin doesn’t use the database, except to store options and widget definitions but this is all standard WP stuff. I really don’t have any idea what’s going on…

Especially, if this was an error in the plugin then you wouldn’t have any output after the plugin code is called, but here it looks like you’re missing what comes before the plugin is called.

Can you try disabling all other plugins but wp-linkedin see if it works or not? If it works then re-enable the plugins one by one to see which one is in conflict.

Yup – conflict is with ‘NextGEN Gallery by Photocrati’, though it’s not a new plugin and the problem. only showed up on the latest version.
