• Hello,
In keeping with the theme, I am thrilled to be able to create a really decent website in my first attempt using Customizr. Thanks to Nikeo for a marvellous gift to us all.
My slider images are actually 960×329, I will attempt to replace with 1170×500 as recommended by electricfeet in the informal faq.
During preview, the images display perfectly but I appear to lose the bottom of the image when I access the website. The problem does NOT exist on safari.
I am accessing on a Mac Book Pro 17 running OS X 10.7.5

    Thanks

  • I’ve just checked on Windows using Firefox, Chrome, Safari & IE10 and can’t see any problem.

I looked too. They’re working as designed. In order to cater for all browser window sizes, the bottom of the image slips out of view as you change the size of the window.

However, your images are chosen well and react very well to resizing.

Thank you for your responses rdellconsulting and ElectricFeet. I took a couple of screenshots of a slide displayed on Firefox and the same slide displayed via Safari. I am not sure how I could attach files though, I thought there was a way but I can’t find it. Anyway you may be able to see the difference between Safari and Firefox on the slide labelled “View from your room”. You may observe that on the Safari version, there is much more grassy area to the bottom of the slide. This same area is truncated on the corresponding Firefox Slide. The visual effects are different.

    Thanks

    You can post images here:

When the windows are exactly the same width, Safari and Firefox show exactly the same amount of image on my Mac.

Good evening rdellconsulting and ElectricFeet. I include links to the images of the Firefox browser as well as that of the Safari browser. I continue to experience the different views on my Mac Book Pro. I accessed the site on an HP Windows Vista machine this afternoon and the images displayed exactly as expected on both Firefox and Chrome. If nothing jumps out at you this time, I’ll have to call off the troops ??

I note that the slides display properly while customizr is in preview mode but not when accessed via https://

    Thanks again,

PS… I wrote this response over 24 hours ago and forgot to post ??
